A Boy Stance

Being just a mom

I was wondering, you see

How am I

A Mom

To teach my son to pee

Do I just tell him what to do

And hope he'll understand

This little boy of mine

Who I'll teach to be a man

Or should I get the garden hose

And say 'this is how you do it'

As I model the right stance

and say 'there's really nothing to it'

Do I stick out my little pinkey

While standing at the rim

Or aim and shoot a squirt gun

And say 'look I'm gettin' in'

Hmmm

This is quite a mom dilemma

Something not thought about before

When he was just a baby

Crawling on the floor

I must ponder more upon

This important thing with he

How do I, a mom

Teach

The way a boy should pee?
