Fruit Tart Pastries

The quick and easy way to make Fruit Tart Pastries....

Triangle
Fruit Tart Pastries

1 box of pie crust (1 box usually contains two pie crusts)
1 jar of your favorite jam flavor (we used strawberry preserves)
1 egg
2 Tbls. of milk
confectioners sugar
a little flour for dusting
On a flat surface, sprinkle a little flour
Unwrap both pie crusts place one on top of the other
Cut into triangles like you would a pizza pie
Separate the triangles but know what top goes with what bottom
Whisk together the egg and milk
With a pastry brush spread a little of the egg/milk mixture on all of the bottoms
Put a tablespoon of jam (your favorite flavor) into the center (no need to spread it around)
Reassemble the top
Use a fork to seal all of the edges
Poke a few tiny fork holes in the top
Brush the tops with the egg/ milk mixture
Place them on a tray lined with parchment paper
Bake 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven
When cooled sprinkle with confectioners sugar
