Cucumber Lemon Water - #13
Let me just say this. I am not a water drinker. To be honest, I usually, to my body's dismay, forget to drink it. And to be honest again, I don't like the taste of water. To get it down my gullet, it needs to be icy cold, that way, I don't taste the non-taste of it. blech! In my many years of trying to acquire a love of good 'ole H20, I just was never able to. I have tried drinking the manufactured flavored drinks on the market, but they are not really that healthy. I've added lemon to my pitcher of water, but it ended up too lemony. Then I discovered cucumber lemon water. Yup. Two slices of cucumber and one slice of lemon added to a pitcher of water, which I fill several times a day did the trick for me. Those few slices have changed my perspective and my motivation about staying hydrated and has ended my quest for a great, healthy beverage.
