Taking A Car Ride

Car rides are cool

They're really pretty neat

Especially sitting

In the up-front seat

But when your place

Is not up there

And you must park your bottom

In the back seat chair

The ride becomes no so fun

It's long and dreary

And really quite glum

The scenery that's seen

Is from a sideways skew

Not at all like an up-front view

And you can't stretch your legs

Straight out and long

Or be the chooser

Of the best radio song

The bumps are horrendous

They shake you inside

And make for a miserable

Back-seat ride

So you up-fronters

Believe me

Your seat's the best bet

And understand when we ask
