Sopapilla Cheesecake Recipe - EASY!

NOTE:  I AM REPOSTING THIS FOR A YUMMY ADDITION TO THIS RECIPE. (scroll to bottom)

Wow, this cheesecake recipe was delicious...and easy to make!!!  All my husband could say was 'mmmmmmm' after every bite.  He claims that this is now on his most-favorite dessert list.  My kids love them too!  They remind me of a cheese danish.  So Yummy!!!

Ingredients:
-3 cans pillsbury or store-brand butter crescent rolls
-2 (8oz) packages cream cheese (softened)
-1 cup sugar
-1 teaspoon vanilla
-1/4 cup butter (melted)
-Cinnamon & sugar

Instructions:
Unroll and spread 1 & 1/2 cans of the crescent rolls on bottom of un-greased pan. (I used store-brand).  Combine softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Spread mixture over crescent rolls. Unroll and spread remaining crescent rolls over mixture. Spread melted butter over the top and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.

Voila!!!!

I'm sure you could just take a crescent roll and spread the mixture inside, rolling up like you would according the the crescent roll packaging.....or

take a crescent, fill with cream cheese mixture and fold over into a triangle.

I'll let you know how those two ideas pan out once I make another batch!

REPOSTED....New Addition****

At the request of my children, I made another batch of this delicious dish!  However, as I was putting the top crust on, a lightbulb went off.  I had just purchased fresh fruit and took some fresh strawberries and sliced them on top of the filling, then put on the crust.  My, oh my, oh my, was that awesome!!!   You could probably use any fresh fruit....or jam you wanted.  Great addition to an already yummy dish!

*This is so simple and fast!  It would be a great treat to send in to school on those school-party days or if you have to bring a dessert to a social event.
